    Hello All!
I did search both the forum and google, but got rather confusing anwers...

    Just got a white A110-1131 (512 ram, 8gb ssd...etc)

    I´m planning the following mods:

    1- add more Ram
    2- change ssd

The thing is, as there are many models of the aspire one around i´m not quite sure if the mods are possible...i´ve seen several photos of the A110 with the ram expansion slot, but again, im not sure if its tied to a certain model only or if it applies to all models bearing the 'A110' prefix for ex.

Am im able to add more ram or the model i own doesnt have the sodimm slot?
Also, i´ve got a dead 20gb iPod (4th gen i guess) just lying around, can i use the hd on the aspire one?

    Thanks!

There is only one A110, there is only one A150, there is only one A250 etc.... Differences are in colors... All pictures you have seen with A110 model are OK for your unit...

    ah..ok..got it!

i´m just asking because the info i got from the store that sold me the AAO is that the 512 ram was not expandable because its soldered to the motherboard, but i certainly can add another 1gb then on the expansion slot.

    thanks!
