I was having problems connecting to my wireless modem, so I thought the problem must have been in one of the programs that I'd downloaded. Since I just got the computer LAST NIGHT, I didn't think I had all that much to lose, so I attempted to restore the factory defaults by pressing alt+f10 and redo what little I'd accomplished the night before.

Now, every time I boot up---even if I DON'T press alt+f10---the computer says "starting recovery management environment", then Windows XP logo, then blue screen. The error code is as follows

    PROCESS1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED

    *** STOP: 0x0000006B (0xc000012F, 0x00000003, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

    Help? Please???

It seems as if you got it stuck in an endless loop cycle. I did it once (don't ask how) and I had to boot Puppy Linux from a USB stick to wipe the hard drive, then install Windows XP from another USB stick. This whole process took me 2 days to finally fix, it was quite the pain.
