When i install this game and i allready have direct X 9c installed i get this message

Unable to reset the renderer. In order to play Combat Arms, you’ll need at least DirectX 9,0c, with a video card that supports TnL. (Error:484)

What to do next

I HAVE CHECKED ON THE NEXONS WEBSITE AND IT SAY'S THAT THE VIDEO CARD ( INTEL ) IS OK FOR THIS GAME AND DIRECT X 9 C IS INSTALLED

THIS IS FOR MY SON'S COMPUTER THAT HE TRAVELS WITH ALOT...IS'T HARD TO GET THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS

According to some forum posts at NEXON's site the Intel chips may not run the game. I mean seriously, the One is not to meant to game on, though it can run Starcraft OK, which is fine with me.

 

Sorry, that came out rather trollish. What I meant is that the hardware is limited, small screen, tiny keyboard, weak gpu, etc, so a person shouldn't be surprised if a certain game will not be playable or even refuse to run. That doesn't mean that games can't be played on the One, just that the experience may not be very good. It is designed for excellent portability and expecting anything else is not realistic. I am however, constantly surprised by my unit's performance, considering what is "under the hood".

 

Just for info - I have a AA1 1.5 gig 120HD Vista and my kids run ?Nexons MapleStory on it fine, not sure what Combat Arms is or how different from MapleStory but it woks fine at 1024*600
