    Hello everybody,

I have in front of me an Aspire One D250 and I have been forced to replace the hard drive. I was not able to install XP as I was getting a BSOD during the install. I installed Vista Basic the other day as an experiment and have had no problems except for locating an ethernet driver. I downloaded the chipset driver (XP) from Acer and found Vista files in a folder for the chipset. However, the system will freeze during the installation, so that got me nowhere. Basically, all I need is the LAN driver so I can get the thing online. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I see the Vista option in the driver download section at Acer has a nice red x in the box, so I'm assuming I can't even look for a Vista driver? Why is there a Vista folder in the chipset download?

I now see a forum for AOO drivers. Sorry I didn't post my request in there.
