Aspire One D250 White Screen problem

    It does display from the VGA output, but its own screen just goes all white.
    Possibly the LCD screen is faulty?
    Thanks.

    Update,
    After disconnecting and reconnecting the screen ribbon at the back it worked fine for a couple of hours, then after waking up from standby it went all white again.
    Any ideas?

    Attach and re-attach ribbon and then place a piece of tape on ribbon, preventing it from moving. if it stills continues to occur change ribbon. Last resort, change ribbon and LCD all together.
