I tried searching the forum for topics about aspire one d255 fan control. Though I couldnt find anything on the forum. I've found programs for controling the fan on older models of aspire one, though not the D255. I find this model runs very hot. I want to get a program to make the fan kick in more often or run constantly. Noise and power usage isnt an issue for me (I leave my aspire one plugged in the wall most of the time)

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

I don't know much about the fan control apps, as you've said, they're mostly for older machines. If you're leaving your AAO plugged in most of the time, once the battery's fully charged try removing it. The amount of heat generated by charging the battery is quite a considerable amount. In other words if it's not constantly keeping tabs on its battery, it should run a wee bit cooler.
