    Nice!

How does it work when there's a lot of things happening in the game? Like in full battle? Have you tried yet? I wonder how it will be when you're launching your atomic bomb :p CRASH! KABOOOM! <------ Your AAO :D

so after some work and deliberation, i managed to get the source engine to hit 33fps avg in the stress test. however, the only maps that the game is really playable are FY maps. it can be fun with some bots, or with a couple of friends online, no more than 5 people per map really. if you want to know what i did, just PM me.

Thief 2 - The Metal Age runs very well, and the resolution can be set to fit the Aspire One's 1024x600 resolution using the widescreen patch.

Details: Official 1.18 patch, DDFix patch, and the Widescreen patch.
Instructions for installing the DDFix and Widescreen patches can be found here: http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.p ... 240&page=1

Another note is that System Shock 2 uses the same engine, one could follow the same steps to get it working on the Aspire.

    Hello all

This is my first post here as I have just bought an AAO. This looks like a nice little community.

Anyway, I can report that Sherlock Holmes - Mystery of the Mummy works fine on the Acer. At least I havn't had problems with it yet. I have XP and 1GB RAM. It's a decent graphical adventure game. No problems running Age of Empires 2 either.
