Aspire One Game Compatability List - Post Results Here!

hard to say if the game will work or not, I've had games with higher spec working and games with lower specs refusing to work.

Its a great netbook, I'm running vista and loads of different games, so just buy it!

Collin McRae rally 2 runs perfectly
Broken Sword 2 ; 3 ; 2.5 run perfectly
Broken sword 4 doesnt start. Software emulation doesnt work.

Good Morning AAO User. I just picked up this great lil' toy this past weekend and haven't been able to set it down since.
I've been busy testing out which games run well on this lil' beast. I have the Black 160GIG, 6 Cell version.

you got halo running well? I tried it and it ran ok but was really ugly with all the settings turned down.

 

Nope, mine runs and looks good. I don't have a video but here's a couple on youtube of people playing halo on the aao.

 

Special Forces Nemesis Strike - Plays great on lower settings.
Heavyweight Thunder - Have to switch to 800x600 but fine after that.
Swat 4 - Turn down everything and plays smooth.

 

Pristontale ( http://www.pristontale.com/ ) runs smoothly on low settings. In a village with lots of players the AAO runs short in performance. I love it!
