    Another game to play.

Brothers in Arms-Road to Hill 30.
You will need 3d analyze to get it running and a screen res of 1024x768 with down scaling(use a1ctl to get it)

Plays very well when in game graphics set to 640x480 and playable at 800x600 all settings on low.

Can confirm the Joint Operations works but menu text is missing (will mess with settings etc) but it is playable and online too. just a bit hit n miss.

You will need 3d analyze to get it running and a screen res of 1024x768 with down scaling(use a1ctl to get it)

battlefields Vietnam and 1942(plus mods)work fine but battlefield 2 isn't currently nor is 2142... And messing with BF2 to get it to work.. will update when I have..

But WWII Iwo Jima isn't part of BF series Nor is Joint Operations.

NHL 09 works decently, if you turn the settings down, there are few stutters or hangs.

Hey, folks trying to run Fallout 2, just an FYI, if you get it from the Good Old Games site, you don't need to run in compatibility mode or anything. I'm addicted to my new Aspire One and that GOG site now... the GOG site is beta still, but it worked smooth for me, it has tons of the good older games that should run well on the Aspire One,

I just posted a couple pics on my site showing the download and the game running,

No need to have Fallout 2 run in compatbility mode, it runs fine on its own -

dont know if it was already mentioned but:

    Game: Halo: Combat Evolved
    Ram: 1gb
Performance: Runs pretty good (if all vid settings are turned down)

    ----------------------------

Game: Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4
    Ram: 1gb
Performance: Runs Perfect/Above 30fps (distance fog enabled and full screen antialiasing off)

    ------------------

    Game: Frets on Fire
    Ram: 1gb
Performance: Runs Perfect/Above 30fps (with guitar hero mod and using harmonix rock band wired guitar controller) but a driver for the controller is required off of microsofts website.

Of course Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics would work fine on the aspire.

They don't use 3d graphics and were released for DOS for christs sake.

Counter Strike Source at forced Directx 7.9

At directx 6.9 its almost playable on small maps like iceworld

    Launch options used
"-w 640 -dxlevel 69 -console -refres -heapsize 900088 -noipx -nojo"

    alongside this config file
    http://www.fpsgod.com/kaizens-cs-source ... -released/

Still unplayable because of massive amounts of lag.
