aspire one in black - where ?

    If you look carefully its pretty clear its the blue one. Underexposed. Really underexposed.

    It happens easily enough. Shoot against a white background, 7/10 you'll end up with this kind result unless you take care to adjust the camera settings.

    your prob right,
    but the white balance on modern digital cameras are very good nowadays.

    The camera sees a huge area of bright white and compensates by making everyting darker. To get it right spot-metering should be used, so the background is ignored in the brightness calculation. Its actually not something most cameras can compensate for automatically.

    I'm a photography nerd...

    As an aside, the blue Aspire One seems especialy tricky to photogragh. 10 photos give 10 different hues of blue.
