    Hi,

I'm trying to connect my aspire one to my Sony Bravia KDL-46W5500. I'm using a male to male VGA and do have the full picture on the screen. However, it is ruined by a black box in right corner of TV screen saying "Unsupported signal. Adjust your PC output"

Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks.

I would have thouht if the output signal wasn't fit for your TV, the TV wouldn't display anything.

Anyway, if you're in Windows look in your Control Panel for Display Properties (or Windows 7 just right click the desktop and select "screen resolution"), try different resolutions and refresh rates and your TV's message might go away.

    Hi,

I appreciate the reply. I should have mentioned that my aspire one runs on linpus lite os - and i have no idea how to change the res/refresh rate as it doesn't have an elaborate windows style control panel.
