Sorry for the delay, what I found with the numbers you gave me is some MOSFET, but the chips I couldn't find any informations for them. So you better assemble the laptop and if you need more USB ports you can always plug a HUB.

    Mosfets

Hi Adamo, what I will do before reassembling is change the one Mosfet FDS6675BZ which has 0 Volt output. I tried to get the electrical drawings here, but no result. Turning in to ACER is useless since the repair costs a bit more than a new machine with Windows 8 on. Thanks and regards

    U16 Chip

Hi Adamo, I think it is that one you've circled in. It is on my board U8 and called "25x80 AVSIG" Winband 0830. Another very small IC called U16 on my board is called - I hope, hard to read - DD-AJ C09. It is to small for me to unsolder and replace.
But, I have sent to you a PN via this system with a list of all other 8-pin-ICs which I would be able to unsolder and replace - hopefully. Did you receive it? Regards DB

Yes I received it, but it's all mosfet numbers, and the others are not relevant to your problem. The number on the U16 refers to nothing on the internet. Try reading the U30 chip, it's the same one but for the usb on the motherboard.

    U16

Hi Adamo, there is only one other chip of that size, right next to the cable plug for the keyboard. as on your board, but here it is U5 and named "K361G780", which as well doesn't make sense to me.
    Best Regards

Hi DB, the chip U16 is providing the 5 volts to the external USB. The problem is the number on my schematic doesn't correspond the pinout of the drawing of the chip. So I don't know which one is good, the number or the drawing.

    U16

Hi Adamo, I will try to measure that chip you circled in and see, what comes up. If you know which pin is doing what or if you have a clear name of that chip can you tell me? Then I will try to figure out in the web what it does, if I can.
    Thanks and regards

Hi DB, If you can measure the voltage on U16, the number is G525A and it's a "USB High-Side Power Switch Advance Information" chip. If it's a 8 pin chip, then the pin 7 is the input 5V, the pins 6 and 8 are the output 5V. And the pin 3 is the ground.
