Hi Guys, just joined this forum after purchasing an Aspire One 150 and made a few tweaks from some guides on here. My first time using Linux Lite!!! :)

I am just wondering,- I have read on this forum, and others, people talking about things such as madwifi and kismet apps for wireless, from what I can gather I will need to install madwifi first before installing such an app as kismet. Could anyone tell me what the advantages are of madwifi (what does it actually do)??????? also is kismet the preferred option once I have madwifi or is there another that will work well on the AA1 such as aircrack etc???

Please make the response very basic in description as I cant do technical computer jargon  Also a guide and how to install madwifi if its worth it would be very useful! ;)

    Many Thanks in advance guys

ohhh and its a Atheros AR5006EG Wireless card if need to know that
