Can anyone tell me, how can I put the unmodified OS X Leopard dmg image on an usb stick (8GB) ? I don't have an external writer.
And how do I put the Nero image file for boot-132 on another usb stick (1GB) ?

btw, I need a windows way to do it

Yes, found that out too, but I guess there must be some way, just havent found it yet

In the guide I saw 2 usb drives on a screenshot, I wonder whether seraph used usb sticks too

Edit: Haven't tried it yet, because my 8 gig usb stick arrives tomorrow, but I think I can get it to work by formatting my usb drive to hfs by using macrive 7, and then copying all the files from the dmg using ultraiso.

Actually, I'm sure seraph used an usb stick insteadt of an external dvd drive.
Where he says in his tutorial "type '90' to boot from cd", he types 80, which means the first hard drive, in boot-132 your usb stick will be recognized as the first hard drive.

Thanks for the information on adding the extra partition. I didn't know that either.

I was able to get dual boot working. I created another partition, formatted FAT(so xp startup would recognize) and installed windows(after formatting to NTFS). I restarted and had no selection of OS(obviously)...it just booted right in to xp. I followed the step here http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index ... Multi-Boot and I now can dual boot to xp or leopard!

I've also noticed my time is off when I switch between operating systems. I've seen this before with bootcamp. Does anyone remember a fix?
I would also like to get vmware working in both operating systems with the slave os being the other operating system (i.e. - in osx virtualizing the xp partition, in xp virtualizing the osx partition). That probably won't happen, though. :(

    That worked great! Thanks!

An update on the virtualizing software. I was unsuccessful with vmware fusion...like many others it wouldn't boot after installation. I will be trying parallels soon. In the mean time, I have used macfuse with ntfs-3g to access the windows partition from osx and macdrive in windows to access the osx partition.

I had to uninstall the kext that got our internal mics working(posted earlier), because shutdown caused a kernal panic.

I'm still trying to figure out why my ichat doesn't have an "effects" button during video conferencing. I liked riding the roller coaster... :(

    2. I push power button, restart, use 132 boot disk
    3. On Welcome I choos country, kybrd layout
    4. Choose "do not transfer my info...
    5. ... AND im again on step 3.

OK, got it working, works perfectly, except from sleep and speedstep.
Really, no speedstep just kills my battery

Edit: And it gets way hotter than under vwindows, I know there is a solution for it, but can't find it anymore.

I got speedstep working now! (with vanilla kernel)
Updating will only break sound and graphics which then can be fixed in seconds!
Very happy now, will post my kexts and a guide (on how to do it using usb boot-132!) in a few days (got exams now :( )

The only thing left is sleep!

Actually, I found some instructions on how to very very simply get around the "Upgradd" problem. It's so simple, it's almost laughable.

I used this method on a Mac Mini last week to test it and it worked perfectly.
