Aspire One ZG5 - wireless not working for some programs

    Hi all,

    I just got an Aspire One Model ZG5 (8gb ssd) with XP installed on it.

    Now the wireless works, i can connect using IE and ping n stuff.

    The weird part it that when i launch firefox3 or skype, they time out :!: .... i dont get it, i can connect using IE
    but not with firefox. it says "server cant be found". even tried putting in the ip address, didnt work either.

    any help will be much appreciated.
