Asus K75DE questions

    I have an Asus K75DE, bought it new years ago.

    It has been running Windows 10 fine until a recent crash, I think I have a video driver problem, it does okay in safe mode. I'm trying to find the correct driver, it has the original AMD A10 4600 CPU and Radeon graphics chip.

    I really like my old laptop. I've put new WD hard drives in it and boosted the memory. That made a huge difference in performance. I have found that an AMD A10 5750M CPU and 8350 GPU will fit the original socket. I'm try to find out if I can get the bios to support the upgrade. Can anyone tell me, or tell me where to search. I'd like to keep the old laptop going, I've never found one I like better.
