    Good day, all.

I repair phones, tablets and laptops. I do it mostly for fun and the challenge. I try to sell what I can and most of the time break even. I recently purchased an Asus Q503UA. It needed a lot but I thought it would be fun to work on. My issue is with the battery. Turns out, NOBODY (worldwide) still carries this battery. Nobody. Zero. Zilch. :( It's supposed to be a B41N1341. I ordered one but it's not the correct battery.

    1) Does anyone have a source for the battery?

I found (and purchased a battery for a Q504 (or Q502, I don't remember). The physical size is the same, the voltage is the same and the mah is just slightly lower than the OEM. The connector is in the correct location (although a bit longer than the original), + and - are in the correct locations. The issue is the (2) middle wires (white and yellow). They're switched around from the OEM.

    2) What are these wires for?
    3) Can I still use the battery in it's current wiring configuration?
    4) If not, without microsoldering (still working on that), is there any way to swap those (2) wires?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
