athereos wlan driver?

    hi, my question is, exists a driver for this wlan card in kalyway?? because i was install kalyway but osx cant detect it, i have everything hardware works except this, i was looking for a kext for this but i cant found nothing yet, anybody have this driver? or doesnt exist?

    I really hate to be the one to say this but have you had a look at ANY posts in this forum? Search first then ask questions later is my advice.
    ps, the answer is no, no driver.

    No problemo. If you want wlan in OSX it is suggested to replace the wlan card with something like a cheap Dell 1390 mini pci-e. This means opening the computer and will cancel your warranty. There are many guides on how to do this on this site and others, including video guides on YouTube.

    Colega: este tema está tratado sobremanera en el foro, es más, tiene un hilo solo para él, lo que te han querido decir es que de cualquier manera hay solución:

    1- algunos han encontrado un pseudo-driver desarrollado para la atheros, pero da más problemas que otra cosa, puedes seguir el hilo, yo te lo resumo, funciona las primeras veces, después de los reinicios deja de funcionar, algunos se han quedado sin sistema, teniendo q reinstalarlo todo de nuevo.

    2- sustitución de la atheros por varios modelos de broadcom o la 1390, etc... hay varios sitios con buenas fotos y videos de como hacerlo

    3- usar algún dispositivo usb, como yo hago, de ralink con el rt2500 o el rt73, o también el ZyDas, cualquiera te vale.

    En unas semanas o meses saldrá un driver, atheros ha liberado el c.f., así que no falta mucho.

    As you can see, it's complicated enough for the risk you can fall in, it's yet a "maybe yes maybe no..."

    My advice is to take a cheap usb stick, i.e. inves en el corte inglés (14 €) con ZyDas y bajarte el driver de cualquier sitio.
