Atheros AR5BXB63 vs Dell 1390 Rev. A01 ?

I have three boot systems, UBUNTU, WINDOWS XP AND MAC OSX IDENEB.

Windows xp and ubuntu works great with the atheros, but i want mac osx to have wifi. I want to buy a dell 1390 in ebay for only 11,90 with free shipping, but i see that is REV. A01 .

But my trouble is that i read that some dell 1390 are very hot or didnt detect a lot of networks like atheros...and other problems.

Its the dell 1390 rev. A01 equal or more powerfull that the atheros? or is loser than atheros?

I have "upgraded" to Dell 1390 rev.A01 and it works perfectly. The Atheros is maybe a little more sensible and have better reception.

 

If i put a dell when i am using ubuntu and xp also, i notice that i spend money for a dell wichi is loser than the atheros what cost me 0$ because its incorporated.

The people how change the wifi card its only because they only use MAC OSX at 90% of the time ?
