It's generally considered bad form to post on a forum, asking replies being sent to an email address. Forums are implicit a community based communication form, where the exchange of information is shared one to many (one post - many readers). Thereby the information exchanged benefits the whole community.

Email is implicit a closed person2person communication form, where information is shared one to one - Which doesn't benefit the community.

There are a multitude of Ogg converters around. Just google for them. For the most part you can download the source code and compile them, if you don't want to enable the Fedora8 repositories on the Linpus Aspire one.

    This does not compute.
Why do you want "a DOS that runs batch files" in order to "hack Linpus from the lowest levels" ??
The source code for Linpus is freely available. All you need is good knowledge of C, C++, Fortan, and IA32 Assembler, and you can hack your Linpus installation to your hearts delight.
If you mean customize the currently installed Linpus installation, all you need is Nano, and the knowledge of which settings in what conf file to change, in order to achieve whatever customization you long for.

No need for anoyher operating system to achieve that.
