when watching a movie or video clip my audio is extremely choppy. the video is smooth as butter but the audio is constantly clipping in and out. any ideas how to fix this?

I have the same problem (Windows 7 RC 7100) but only when playing music in WMP 12 . And thing that is wird: some mp3s plays good in WMP (SRS turned on) but some are choppy :( I checked the files and bitrate is not a reason.WMP or something else(drivers) must have a bug... Second thing : those mp3s which used to be choppy in past now play good , but some are still bad...

hey malfunction! I will try to repay you for all your help!

Its probably your driver. Go to realtek's website and download the latest HD audio codec driver.. R2.40 I believe. I'm using that one, and havent had any choppiness in my sound ever!
