Audio / Video skipping only when loud.

    Hello, I've had this problem ever since I got this laptop but not even Acer would help me out with it and I'm hoping someone here would have some knowledge into the matter.

    I have one of the very first 7" aspire ones. aoa 150 1813.

    Whenever I play some music or watch a video the audio and video skips if the audio is turned up all the way. It does it even if its on AC.

    It's not windows because it happens in linux as well.

    It doesn't happen if I am using headphones though.

    I'm thinking that for some reason it is related to the power draw which is the same cause of the screen flickering when the hdd is being used.

    Does anyone know a solution to this?
