I am a newbie and have a probably rather stupid question concerning LinPus (not enhanced). Is it normal that the webcam records picture but not sound? How do you make audio recordings without activating the advanced mode.

I don't feel like activating the advanced mode since I use the machine for business purposes alone which mainly make use of the items already present in the "work" section. yet, I would appreciate the possibility to make audio memos.

 

This is a problem i had and after of searching and phone calls it turns out that the internal and external mic will not work on the linux version external will work with xp acer know this and hopefully will put right with a updte soon the mic will work for skype calling though

 

Thanks. If the Aver developers are worth teir salt they will check the forums, read this and go working on it even harder ;-)

 

More exactly, on linpus the mic works fine with Skype but does not work with webcam software, so I argue the trouble is in a bad configuration of that software, not in the mic / Linpus itself.
