Authenticating as "root"

    I am attempting to download and install Skype to my AA1. I have followed forum instruction to download the Federa 7 file directly from Skype website but as soon as the download completes a Query box opens indicating that I require administrative priviledges and asking for Authenticating as "root" password. :?: Were do I get these privledges and password?
