I bought a Avermedia Volar A808 DVT USB digital TV stick off ebay.
It works fine on my XP machine.
There are Linux drivers on the Avermedia web-site and I downloaded them but I couldn't get them to install.
It may be my inexperience in installation or some other issue.
Does anyone have experience of this device?
If it can be installed then can someone provide some simple, clear step-by-step instructions please?
    Thanks

If you get a reply I'd also love to know how to get my USB DVB T working with Linpus. I haven't had any luck finding linux drivers for it yet but I'm hoping it is a generic type of device (mine made or distributed by a company called PAMA in the UK).
