AVG Will not install on Window 7 Aspire One

    AVG Error message when installing on Windows 7 Home Starter system.
    "Local machine: install actions planned
    Installation:
    Error: MSVC Redistributables installation failed. Installation of AVG can not continue."
    AVG Support state that it is an issue with Windows 7 to resolve.
    Can you help with solution, please?

    I decided to run Microsoft Security Essentials. At least as good as free AVG according to Znet.
