I've installed xinetd and enabled telnet by editing "/etc/xinetd.d/telnet" , but apparently there is no telnet command.

    When I type:

    telnet x.x.x.x

    I get:

    bash: telnet: command not found

My telnet server is definitely on:

    chkconfig --list | grep telnet

    yields:

    telnet: on

I need telnet to program wireless receivers, ssh isn't an option. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks!
