Battery display

    A new (two week old) 6 cell battery has suddenly dropped the display of 6/7 hours at full charge, and displays something like 3/4 hours at full charge. The expected display suddenly came back for a few minutes, then disappeared again. I have tried total discharge, but the full-charge display is still at that lesser level. Any explanation?
