Battery for A0751H

Hi, do you know who is selling battery for this model? Any online store US? Thanks!

 

I am also looking for a battery upgrade for this model. Anyone know of one?

 

So far, by searching this forum, I found 2-3 Hong Kong sellers but none in North America.

Also I contacter acer.shopbysystem.com and they said they would sell that battery once it becomes available for retail by Acer.

No luck on Acer's online store either.

Also, note that there aer lots of aftermarket batteries for the Acer Aspire One, but the AO751H's battery is physically different, so be careful and don't buy the wrong battery.

You can tell by comparing the pictures with your own battery. The non-AO751H battery has some kind of "hook" whereas the AO751H battery does not. Also, the "block" where the battery attaches to the netbook is offset differently on the AO751H battery.

Your posts didn't explain why my AO751H-1640 wasn't listed on the Shopbysystem's web site. Not sure what you wanted me to look for in your posts.

Anway, it turns out that the 1640 model is a Canadian model (bilingual documentation & keyboard layout). Physically it is the same as the US version, and the LC.BTP00.059 will fit.

I ran a quick google, and it looks like several non-HongKong sellers are selling this battery too.

 

I was shopping around for a 5200mAh battery for my a0751h-1196 and I ended up seeing a 7200mAh battery for a0751h being sold at http://www.usa-battery.com/7200mah-battery-for-acer-aspire-one-751751hao751-ao751h-p-3830.html for $108.88 (How did they come up with this price?).

Two questions:
(1) Is this the lowest price available?
(2) I did not see this battery rating on the acer store website; so, I am not sure if this will or will not fry my ao751h-1196. Anybody out there already using this battery for ao751h?

I took a look at the ebay site. The listing has ended. However, I am really more interested in the 7200mAh battery for ao751h... I want to find out if there are others out there who had used this battery. I just want to make sure that it will not hurt in any way my netbook. I don't want to commit, you know, a real faux pas.

 

Follow-up...

I found a 9-cell ,11.1 volt, 7200mAh battery at amazon.com for $59.95 ( + S/H $6.95 = $66.90). So $108.88 is really overpriced. I bet it will be even lower by Christmas time. It is being marketed as replacement battery for aspire one netbooks.

I bought the item from amazon and my ao751h is chirping happily for 7-8 hours without the power cord.
