Battery indicator light

    Just got my Acer Aspire One AOD250. It works fine plugged into AC. I am trying to charge the battery, but there are no instructions for that. I understand that there is supposed to be a battery indicator light (probably in the same place as the HDD light?), but I do not see one. The light is supposed to show amber when the battery is charging. How do I get to see this?

    Also, is there any meaning to the red lights at either end of the battery?

    the light is on the front of the d250, directly below the atom/winxp stickers.
    that will be amber when charging, green when fully charged (and plugged in)

    I have a blue one there to cause the HDD light was to hard to see.
    So mine is Orange / Green and BLUE.
    and when i put my Bluetooth in i put the Blue led next to the wifi led so now its Green and Blue.
