I have an aspire one A0A150 model # ZG5. The battery drained once and now it will not hold a charge at all. I have to have it plugged in to an outlet to use it. Can anyone help please?

It is my understanding that Lithium batteries do not tolerate complete discharge very well, which is why most devices with lithium batteries (Including my Ryobi drill) cut off completely well before the battery is dead. If the battery is totally drained, it will resist charging, but if left on charge for a long time, it MAY take a charge again. My guess is that the computer was left on the computer for a long time with the battery discharged. I encountered this problem with an ZG5 Aspire One that had sat around with the battery on it uncharged for 3 months. It would not take a charge for a while but I left it on charge for 24 hours and it had charged up. How long the charge will last, I can't guess.

The description of your problem may just be a bad battery. I would not expect the computer to be bad. But either is possible. There are Aspire One batteries available on the internet for a reasonable price, but if the computer is new, I would recommend trying to get it replaced on warrenty.
