Battery life

    I'm on atkios 10.5.8 on a d250. And My battery last about 1h30 (3 cell)

    I have a wifi card in the other pci slot that is always on (taping pin 20) is this what what would be causing this?

    In windows 7 i get like 2h30

    The wi-fi card doesn't sound like the problem.

    I get 2hrs23min shown in Snow Leopard 10.6.2 / 10.6.3 on my AOD250 with 3 cell battery.

    I believe the battery kext can cause problems on the D250. Mine kept kernel panicking during SL install with Netbook Installer during installation. I had to install SL without the battery in (on mains power only), then replace the battery after the install.

    After installing Snow Leopard my battery life is also around 1h30min whereas it used to be over 2 hours... :(
