Battery Monitor Working?

    hi all

    i'm running Kalyway 10.5.5 and i can't seem to get the battery monitor working? anyone got any ideas? i've tried a couple of different kext files and been around the forums but i can't seem to find any straight answers?

    Well the one from Diablo kext's is working for me. However, I DO notice the battery life runs way slower than on Windows (I think it's just me tho).

    I really need to get my hands on those new 9-cell batteries.

    i've just had a quick scoot to try and find the diablo kext but it seems to be escaping me? have you got a link to it? or any pointers on where to find it?

    thanks for the responses and i'm sorry that its taken so long to reply... i tried to install the diablo kext and this seems to have added something to my menu bar but its not actually an icon!!

    please see the screenshot attached and see what you think?

    when it loads into the desktop i get a sort of icon pop-up but then it goes away and all i get is this?

    a blank space where an icon should be and something that says there is no battery connected?! :cry:

    any ideas??
