My AAO become standby mode ( screen become black but power Indicater is active. Wifi also active) when battery remainings reach around 33%. I did not set power management to be stand by mode when reach 33%. My AAO have never work until it's battery reach let say 10% or 5%. Have you ever encounter smililar phenomenon??

Has anyone answered your question? My wife just purchase an AAO for me for Christmas and I am experiencing a similar problem. When my computer reachs about 33% battery power it goes into stand by and there is no way I can get it to wake up without performing a Hard Re-boot. If anyone knows more about this please let me know, this is very frustrating.

Are you sure you're experiencing a standby issue, not a power regulation issue which is common on AAO on battery mode.
Due to AAO's power supply problem, sometimes on battery mode when the battery is almost depleted, the computer's screen might turn into a solid color (black, green, orange, blue. etc) and appears as standby.

When the computer is in standby mode, the wifi shouldn't be on. To test if the computer is in standby mode, try this simple command through windows on your AAO.

    windows key + R then type shutdown -r -t -f 03

If the computer restart within 30 seconds, you're experiencing an AAO powersupply issue .
If the computer does not respond to anything, it means it's probably in standby mode.

An alternative method could be to connect an external monitor and switch the screen by using the following shortcut

ctrl+alt+ F1 (default monitor output hotkey if you had it enabled) or press fn + f5 3 times

If you can still use your computer on the external monitor, your computer is definetly not in standby mode and your AAO is experiencing an powersupply issue.
