battery won't charge

    have a fairly new aspire one notebook when I plug in the ac charger it blinks orange once then nothing tried removing batt. and run off ac only but nothing seems to work anyone had this problem any help would be helpfull tks.

    XP operationg system?
    Update to 3309 bios (if you have the Aspire One 150)
    http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_one_150.html

    Unzip the file and go to the winflash folder. Use insdydeflash.exe. Everything you need is in the winflash folder if you are running XP.

    Obviously you must keep the computer powered during the process.
