Hey there everyone. New to the forums as well as AAO's - but i need to replace my 7 year old laptop badly.

    I'm looking at buying this AAO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6834115551

in addition, i'll be including a 2GB stick of RAM.

Obviously WinXP home comes preloaded but you can install other OSes - using Flash drives. Now, honestly... i haven't bought a flash drive in forever. all i have is a 512MB one.. lol. But i do have a 100GB external HDD - anyway i could use that to load Win7 RC1 on there? I'd think it'd be the same?
Loading other software [Office, etc.] would be the same i'd presume?

Also, is the HDD interchangeable? If it is, i would probably load on a 500GB 2.5" SATA drive as well - then probably install RC1 right off the bat. Is this a good idea, or no?

I don't plan on using the laptop for gaming at all [i have a badass PC i built for that] but i want to keep my media library with me - so it'd be nice to have the extra space.

    Any thoughts?
