One thing I can see since the update, is I can now choose 12 hour clock and AM / PM. YAY as I hate 24 hour.
LiveUpdate, now has a history of all updates, dont think I saw that before.

Cant see anything else noticable at this stage.

Something annoying I have just found. It seems to forget your wireless password on every boot now :(

    Yep,

I can also confirm the wireless password issue, if anyone comes up if a fix, please let me know.

Damn annoying having to cut and paste the password on every re-boot !!

    Cheers

Wifi password also getting lost on our Aspire, which was new out of the box this morning.

Applying the updates seemed like such a good idea. :-(

Hopefully they will realise and release a fix asap.
Shame there doesnt seem to be a place to easily report these issues.

Anyone else getting the "Incorrect Information File" error?
It states "Please re-run live update again to fix the problem"
I must have run it 20 times now...... any ideas??

    Had problems with the update.

Initially wouldn't recognise the wifi card, or scan for wifi networks.

After rebooting twice this seems to be thing of the past.

Problem now is, as others have found you now have to input your wifi network password each time you reboot. Thanks Acer the hotfix hasn't.
    :x

I have contacted acer.eu support about this issue. The more contacts they get relating to this issue the faster they should (yeah right) get it sorted.

How much does it remove of your settings? I've upgraded the network manager from before, because it wouldn't connect to WPA enterprise thingys. Will the official network manager do that now, or do I have to fix that again?

ETA; is the server slow as molasses?

Yeah servers are slow! Everyone must be downloading the update.

I can't wait to see if it fixes the MSN problems with the official client.

    Hmm.

I only did the live update as my One struggles to set it's IP address from the DHCP server in my Belkin router. Has anyone had the same problem, and does the madwifi HAL driver help (not the latest version, as I know it doesn't work with the One's chipset)?

I thought the update might just help, now I have to manually assign the IP address *and* cut and paste my WPA key every time I want to connect.

I hope there's another patch soon (or some way of rolling back the network manager patch).

Great, now the AAO has amnesia all of a sudden. This updates remind me some Windows ones where you install a update to fix something and once you reboot, you get another set of problems. They must be joking with us! This is the same model in every other countries, and still they seem to screw up things?

I hope someone comes up with a solution for this, This is not my One and my girlfriend is starting to have second thoughts about returning it... ;(
