Big troubles between ZIF HD, CF and enclosures

    Hi guys !

    I have a very strange behaviour with the SSD and HD from my Aspire One.
    First, i wanted to swap the internal SSD with a CF (compact flash) adapter. I got 3 differents adapters with 2 differents CFs : nothing worked.
    So i bought a Toshiba GAL3008 harddrive, in ZIF format of course, and it now works like a charm.

    So i took away the sluggish SSD and bought some 1.8 HD ZIF to USB enclosure. I put on it the SSD, and... nothing.
    I then put a spare Toshiba HD on it : nothing !!

    Then finally i put the CF adapter, always in ZIF format, and then... it works !!!

    SO, please, help me understand what's going on here ?! i really don't understand !
