I updated my Bios to 3307a it freezes up the keyboard when you're running dual boot OS or going into Safemode. I can't choose the second OS to boot or select Safemode.I just revert it back to 3305. I'll just wait until the official New Bios is released.

Just installed, I don't see any difference yet except for one time, it crashed at the boot screen would not load windows, would stay at the Acer screen. I just turned off and back on and voila!

    Thx

    Why?
    How is this good advice?

The poster clearly stated that windows would not load and the computer remained at the BIOS screen, which is before the OS is initiated, which means it's before an option for safe mode is presented.

If that was not enough, he also said that power cycling the unit resolved the issue, so please tell me how on earth windows safemode would help at all?

You have edited your original post to include something that almost resembles a question. That's classy.

As for taking my attitude elsewhere, you are the one casting insults and making posts that account to little more than meaningless spam. If you have something useful to add to the discussion, then I'm quite sure that everyone will appreciate reading it, but nonsensical one-liners such as the original "try going in to windows safemode" help no one, least of all yourself.

I assume you feel a little chagrined for your original post and because you dont have the balls to say "yeah, my post was garbage" you have to come out swearing (or pretending to) and blaming your lack of competence on me. Fair enough, my shoulders are wide enough to carry it.

I stand by my original post though.
I assume you dont stand by yours, seeing as you edited it?

Yeah, I guess that told me, eh?

I'd ask that you consider reviewing your posts and think about ways in which to improve the grammar used, but I doubt it would help, you seem immune to logic, so I guess you are immune to being taught also.

For your own reference, your most recent of epistles should have read:

Pricks like you don't deserve a fucking place in this forum. Get lost.

PS: I've edited my post because stupid fuck's like you[removed exclamation mark] don't have [removed 'a'] any common sense at all.

    Happy to help.
Oh, and if your anger management classes fail you when you read this, and you feel the need to reply with some carefully crafted 'ffuk u' , then I urge you to simply grow a pair and ignore my post.
If you dont know how to ignore a post, watch me and I'll show you.

so dirk misunderstands chadster's post (which is actually pretty clear)and insults chadster. Then he maintains his high and mighty stance even though it was clearly something he failed to understand. i see what you did there. its pretty easy to tell who the teen aged members on this forum are, either literally or not.

I am in this thread looking for some actual 3307a experience before I update.

I suggest waiting for the actual release before updating since I experience freezing keyboard during bootup. I did not see any difference from the new and previous bios update besides the keyboard freeze.

Once 3307a is installed, can you go back to 3305?

    Thx

Re: BIOS 3307 out (not 3307a)

Good to hear, thanks. Original poster should edit the subject as the link clearly shows bios ver is 3307, not 3307a. Just don't want to cause any more unnecessary confusion...

the original post was for 3307a. i read the release notes a few minutes after macles posted and it was indeed for 3307a. i guess 3307 is the official release.

anyway, i just installed 3307 (not 3307a) and it went fine. i still have 9 backlight settings, but the lowest setting is noticeably dimmer. i like it a lot!

Flashed my A150 to 3307. Dont see any obvious difference other than the screen not flickering. I'm sure there are other minor improvements worth upgrading :). No problems yet
