BIOS Lockup

    My Acer Aspire One has 1MB ram and a 16GB SSD.

    At the moment I generally run Ubuntu from an external USB key leaving the original Linpus on the SSD but strangely,if I switch on and press the F12 key (Boot options) on the BIOS screen it locks up.

    If I switch off then back on again the F12 key works fine.

    Always seems to work on the second attempt.

    Anyone else experience a problem?
