bios problem

    AAO 150 1GB 120HD linpus
    I have just flashed the bios on my netbook after booting up to a black screen. this is the fifth time this has happened in about 6 months.
    I have been using v3309 but looking in the system information the bios is still showing as vo.3301
    should this information have updated . I have just read in one of these forums that you have to flash twice to update otherwise you
    just revert back to the original bios version. is this correct.
