Okay, so I'm trying the BIOS Recovery procedure that's outlined in the macle thing. I'm trying to make the USB stick with the FAT. That's done. I've downloaded the BIOS on the stick. (Haven't gotten to FLASHIT.EXE Yet) However, the instructions indicate that the USB stick is not to be removed after the BIOS file is renamed. . So, here's my question - Since the ACER is presently a dead cowboy I, obviously, can't be making this stick with the ACER. I'm using anothe computer. If I can't remove the stick, how the heck do I get it to work on the ACER?

I'm pretty new at this kind of thing, but since the ACER doesn't work anyway, I don't have much fear of trying this procedure. The machine doesn't function anyway so what do I have to lose?

Can anyone help me out on this? Thanks

Disregard the "Do not remove part", the instructions assumed you are using the AOA to built the Recovery Flash Drive.
