BIOS Supervisor Password Needs To Be Cleared

    My mother gave me an Acer AspireOne 725-0687 netbook running Windows 8. The installed RAM is only 2GB, which makes Windows 8 run very slowly. I'd like to install Linux, but I can't because the computer is locked into Safe Boot mode. I can't change this because there's a supervisor password. I asked mom about this but she doesn't know anything about it. Does anyone here know how to this password. Many computers have a jumper that will clear the BIOS, but I haven't found any information about this Acer.

    You will have to take the back off the laptop -
    Video here...


    Then remove the CMOS battery... or if you can see the Jumper... shown in this video (with How to)...
