    Hi everyone,

I have an acer aspire one netbook.. the only mod on it is an extended life battery (if that counts). anyways.. what happened was my parents bought it last year.. and my Mom used it just for basic use ie: checking email. the first battery went on it. so my Dad went and picked up a new battery for it.. and bam it worked great once again.. anyways I guess what has happened is my Mom went to go power on the book.. and the green power light came on but nothing on screen.. long story short I have the netbook now to see if I can fix it or at least get someone to fix it. so I have a netbook already (other manufacturer).. and first thing I tried was fn+f5.. that wasnt issue.. then I tried brightmess no change.. I then made the attempt to run it through the external monitor.. at least to rule out a monitor issue.. but it didnt display.. the netbook cn charge and the power button lights up but the screen is still blank?? anyone know what could be wrong?? is it worth fixing? any input would be great!

    Thanks

    SH

I just had the same thing happen to my A150. I have a green power light but no screen. It was working fine for the last two years and now nothing. I loaded Win 7 on it a month ago and now I'm not sure what to try. If anyone has figured this out please let me know!!
