Blitzkrieg by Nival/CDV

Has anyone gotten Blitzkrieg by Nival/CDV to work on an Aspire One? I have several similar games that I've tried without success: I'm using Directx 9

Cuban Missile Crisis
Cuban Missile Crisis Ice Crusade.
Desert Law
Stalingrad

Hello, i found a solution to run blitzkrieg 1 and expansions. Stalingrad, rolling thunder, etc.

Go to http://blitzkriegesp.blogspot.com/search/label/Patch , and download the multi core patch.

I can run the game ONLY when the patch ask me if i want to run blitzkrieg now, i click, and the game run. Always that we want to play the game, we need to apply the patch. its a odd solution, but it works.

Remember put the resolution of the screen at 1024 768, if not, the menus have positions problems, to the game you can use 1024 600.

That patch got me to thinking. The author of the patch had to being calling the game with a switch!

I changed the properties on the shortcut to:

"C:\Program Files\Blitzkrieg Anthology\Blitzkrieg\Run\game.exe" -windowed

and it works! Should work with all of the games with the Blitzkrieg engine.

 

You are a genius!!, i was thinking about the possible solutions, but -windowed... never it was in my mind :mrgreen:
