I'd love to grab one for myself but the g/f's HS reunion is this weekend... which will probably take up everything I've saved :cry:

Has anyone received one of these from ZZF, or have a prior track record with them? I'm a little hesitant because they are the only ones who say they have them, and because their reseller reatings are weak.

 

Okay, I see J&R are selling them now, but at $430. Again, anyone have experience with ZZF?

 

I don't think their ratings are weak enough for me to take my chances with them. I save quite a bit on shipping and/or taxes through them, and if they are in stock, I should have it by the end of next week. The handful of negative reviews I read didn't dissuade me from ordering either.

I'm ordering right now, and will update you on it's status and my overall experience with them in this thread.

Yes, I'm double posting, but only to let everyone know my order from ZZF has been shipped and should be here Friday. They're one of the cheapest online retailers I've seen for the AAO what with free shipping and no tax (for me at least), and even FedEx 2-day was only $12. Package was shipped on time, and should be delivered on time, and they're still in stock as I write this.

 

i've ordered items from ZZF before and never had any problems. $399 plus free shipping and no tax is a good price as other vendors are inflating it over the $400 mark. but i am glad i grabbed it from ebay with live.com 30% cash back bringing my price to $304 shipped UPS 2day.

You can still get the ebay deal. For instance, go to live.com and search for sony ps3. On the right hand column you'll get a list of links... one will mention the 30% cashback on ebay. click on that and make sure you read all the fine print.

Well... now I feel like an idiot... :cry: Oh well, it's worth the $400 I paid for it, especially when my original plan was to drop $550 on a Celeron based EEE PC :lol:

 

Well... I'll have to wait 60 days before I get that cash back, and... hmm, Oh, you're always taking a chance buying from someone on ebay... You never know. So yeah, you still got a great deal on a great little laptop. Enjoy

I received a blue One from ZZF and a black One from Newegg. Both came within a week. No problems. ZZF had free shipping.
