I would love to impress my friends with my new AO (D250) ... by showing a succesful boot in Mac OSX from a USB key
Is this possible? Does anywone know where I can find a manual?

    Cheers

exact same way as booting from hdd. And if you cant find a guide to install to HDD then you dont deserve to boot mac os x from a usb stick.

I just found and downloaded two guides (clear and helpfull), so I guess I deserve to boot with osX

One (very) important question (plse don't laugh), but re formatting the USB key, I really can't find any information
regarding the different formatting options and which one I should use with/for my AO.
And which version should I use? I read there are 3 different hackintoshes available.
    Cheers,

hey guys .... i cant boot iatkos v7 from my 16gb usbpen it just hangs on up after i select the usbpen form the aao boot menu

i have created a iatkosv7 usbpen with disc utility on another pc already running iatkos

ive formated the pen with "disc utility" with mbr option and selected hfs journaled partition option
then ive inserted the iatkos dvd
    made restore
and dragged the dvd to the source area
and dragged the pen's partiton to the target area
it finnishes and it shows the usbpen as a osx instalation
    all good

now put the pen on my AAO and select it form the boot selection menu , hit enter
and it does nothing , i supose that the system does recognize the pen but it doesnt recognizes the boot.ini or whatever boot system the pen has on it ... if she has...

    what can do now?
