I recently installed windows 7 beta on my One, and Im STILL getting the vista boot screen. Has this happened to anyone else, and can I enable the cool new boot screen with the spinning orbs?

Its like that one every pc i have win7 on, even my pretty insane desktop. It used to have the old new win7 thing with the light blue bar going across and text saying starting windows, but one day it disapppeared. never had the new boot graphics on my aao.

I have installed the same copy on my desktop and on my aao, and the boot screen is different. I believe that is related to the screen resolution.

    Regards,
    Alejandro.

My desktop has 1080p output through DVI->DVI-HDMI adapter->HDMI cable...

So yeah possible, but why would my desktop not have it?

same here, i believe that your resolution must be 1024x768 or something higher in order to get the window 7 boot screen.

I setup Windows 7 to three different pc s. The first was 4:3 monitor with resolution 1280x1024 the second was AAO which is 16:9 1024x600 and the third was 16:9 1920x1080. The two 16:9 have the Vista boot logo only the 4:3 has the new Windows 7 Boot Logo. So i thing it plays only in 4:3 systems.

That would explain why I see the orbs in a VMWare Fusion VM running at 1024x768 but not on my AA0.
