Booting from USB, DVD Rom, or SDHC Card should be easy.

I have an Asus-eeepc, and a generic computer with an Asus MB
I can Hit the ESC hit on the eeepc to control which device I want to boot from,
similarly on my generic Asus MB computer I can control booting via F8.

I don't see any information in the ASPIRE ONE Manual on how to control booting,
except by changing the boot order in the BIOS.

If the ASPIRE ONE it not capable to boot, except by changing the Bios first, then this ASPIRE ONE is going back to Costco.

Can someone please confirm or deny my concern? TIA!

    F12 works!

But for those not so technically challenged, here is a short how to:

    1. enter the Bios via F2
    2. goto Main in the heading bar
    3. goto F12 Boot Menu, change from the default Disabled, to Enabled
    4. F10, Save: Yes

Now, after hitting F12 the Boot Manager window will display from where You will be able
to boot from any external USB connected device such as a DVD Rom etc.
