    I have the A110/ZG5 with 8bg ssd.

I want to change my operating system so I know I need to boot from an external source with the appropriate software. I do not have a flash drive over 2gb but I do have 8gb and 16gb sdhc cards. the BIOS recognizes the usb flash reader as USB 2.0 SD MMC READER. I've used this reader with this 8gb card dozens of times in half a dozen devices.

    I used xcopy I put a vista disc on a 8gb card.

After changing the boot order I reboot and I get the "media test failure, check cable error" error and it boots to the ssd. If I turn off network boot the bios doesn't even attempt to boot from the usb.

Is there some way to do what I want or do I have to get a larger "actual" flash drive?
